Fancy: Folded Shelves Shelf Muuto
Reminiscent of folded paper - Muuto's Folded Shelves follow an unusual and unique design approach by imitating paper and yet being formed from metal. This is made possible by a special folding process.
The shelves are supplied with two hooks and bolts for wall mounting and are used to add storage space to any room in an attractive and decorative way.
Designer Johan Van Hengel
The designer Johan Van Hengel is a Dutch designer based in Rotterdam. He has a technical background as an industrial designer and also works in product design for consumer electronics. With his own studio, which he founded in 2013, he also designs furniture, lighting and home accessories. His design approach follows that of a problem solver, as the designer is driven by the desire to take everyday objects to a new level and give them individuality and meaning.
Material and format
The shelf is made of laser-cut sheet metal, which is folded and then acrylic powder coated. It is available in different versions.
