Classic light: FL/Y pendant light by Kartell
The FL/Y pendant lamp by designer Pietro Ferruccio floats like a soap bubble in the room. With its puristic, harmonious design, it sets stylish accents in classic black and white. The bestseller in sixties look radiates the light downwards without glare and looks absolutely modern! Whether hung alone or in groups, the FL/Y luminaire fascinates its viewers!
In addition to the black and white versions shown here, we also offer the F/LY luminaire in noble metallic tones as well as in six transparent coloured versions.
Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani first started to learn the trade of a violin maker, but broke off the apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular table lamps Bourgie and Battery.
