Mood setter: FL/Y pendant light by Kartell
The FL/Y pendant lamp by designer Pietro Ferruccio floats in the room like a colourful soap bubble. With its simple, harmonious design, it sets stylish accents in dazzling colours. It shines the light downwards without glare, while the coloured shade creates iridescent reflections and a wonderful mood light. Hung alone or in groups, the FL/Y fascinates with its fascinating play of light and colour!
In addition to the transparent coloured versions shown here, we also offer the F/LY lamp in opaque white and black as well as in noble metallic tones.
Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani first started to learn the trade of a violin maker, but broke off the apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular table lamps Bourgie and Battery.
