The famous Flowerpot design lamp by andtradition has become a synonym for the Flower Power movement in the 1960s. Its design reflects an era in which conventions were avoided and an open and modern mentality was established. This happened in perfect harmony with the harmonious and peaceful attitude of designer Verner Panton, who was one of the most forward-looking talents of his time.
Designer Verner Panton
An inspiring and colorful personality, Verner Panton has a unique sense of color, form, light function and space. Throughout his career, the designer has created modern lamps with a personality not found in any other Scandinavian designer. His remarkable confidence in the infinite possibilities of shapes has led him to develop a number of new theories about how lighting works and how it can influence its surroundings.
