In the 1960s, the shell chair celebrated great success. This was followed by Jorgen Kastholm and Preben Fabricius by designing the FK armchair for Walter Knoll.

The design of the lounge chair is dominated by perfect lines, a clear outline and an absolutely unique shape. Recognition is guaranteed with the FK armchair by Walter Knoll!

Already in 1969 the Walter Knoll armchair was awarded the Federal Prize for "Gute Form" (good shape) which has established itself as an important design prize to this day. Other design awards, which Walter Knoll has received for their FK chair, are the reddot design award and the if product design award.

The chair FK 6725-3G is used not only in private rooms, but also in public areas. Prominent examples of this are the VIP Lounge at Munich Airport, the Microsoft Office in Japan and the premises of the St. Gallen Cantonal Bank in Zurich.

Naturally the armchair FK 6725-3G is not only something for the eye, but leaves nothing to be desired in terms of comfort! In the spacious seating shell it is highly comfortable.

The high backrest and the armrests resulting from the shell round off the seating comfort perfectly. The armchair, designed by Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm, is generously upholstered with cold foam and covered with fine brown leather. The leather cover is Nappa leather Rodeo-Soft, a slightly pigmented semi-aniline leather with fine grain.
