Learned from the bottom up: Designer Alexander Seifried

Alexander Seifried knows exactly how to build furniture; at the age of 18, he graduated from his carpentry apprenticeship as 2nd guild winner and then completed an apprenticeship at 3F Design in Stuttgart, specialising in interior design and furniture design. Only two years later, he presented his first own furniture collection and made it into the renowned manufacturing companies Richard Lampert, Magazin, frauMaier and Elmar Flötotto.

Richard Lampert: Design made in Germany

In 1993, Richard Lampert founded his company in Stuttgart with the aim of industrially producing furniture and everyday objects that combine quality craftsmanship, design standards and sustainability. Richard Lampert's collections cover a wide range of areas, from outdoor furniture to living space and office furniture. Well-known designers such as Egon Eiermann and Herbert Hirche stand alongside unconventional and lesser-known international designers.

Material and format

The designer changing unit from the Famille Garage furniture series by Richard Lampert consists of a 5-layer solid spruce/fir board, is colourlessly lacquered with a white component, the carcass is MDF lacquered white (RAL 9010). Decorative knobs in red and blue are attached to the side of the changing table top. The chest of drawers is 103.5 cm wide, 65 cm deep and 102 cm high.
