No matter how fast your child grows - the Famille Garage design children's furniture series by Richard Lampert keeps up. Take it easy, simply rearrange individual components - and voila! You have already transformed the changing table into a beautiful and child-friendly chest of drawers, as shown here with the large chest of drawers. This one can also be used with three drawers. You can also combine drawers and plastic boxes. The additionally available colourful plastic boxes made of polypropylene are available in the colours yellow, red, green, blue or transparent. With these, you not only inspire your child, you also actively do something for its development. The nine boxes can hold everything your child needs to play to their heart's content: Lego bricks, pencils, puzzles, cuddly toys, cars, dolls. And the best thing is that your child learns to sort things and assign colours correctly through play. No wonder that designer Alexander Seifried has been awarded the Interior Innovation Award and the German Design Award for his Lampert Famille Garage series!
Learned from the bottom up: designer Alexander Seifried
Alexander Seifried knows exactly how to build furniture; at the age of 18, he graduated from his carpentry apprenticeship as 2nd guild winner and then completed an apprenticeship at 3F Design in Stuttgart, specialising in interior design and furniture design. Only two years later, he presented his first own furniture collection and made it into the renowned manufacturing companies Richard Lampert, Magazin, frauMaier and Elmar Flötotto.
Richard Lampert: Design made in Germany
In 1993, Richard Lampert founded his company in Stuttgart with the aim of industrially producing furniture and objects of daily use that combine quality craftsmanship, design standards and sustainability. Richard Lampert's collections cover a wide range of areas, from outdoor furniture to living space and office furniture. Well-known designers such as Egon Eiermann and Herbert Hirche stand alongside unconventional and lesser-known international designers.
Material and format
The large design chest of drawers from the Famille Garage series by Richard Lampert consists of a 5/3-layer board, solid spruce/fir, is colourlessly lacquered with a white component and MDF lacquered white (RAL 9010). It is 99 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 92 cm high. There are matching large plastic boxes made of polypropylene in yellow, red, green, blue and transparent. These are 31.5 cm wide, 49.5 cm deep and 18.5 cm high. You can also equip the chest with three wooden drawers. Or with two drawers and three boxes. Just according to your child's current needs and your ideas. The drawers are 90 cm wide, 36 cm deep and 14 cm high
