The nursery as a workshop! This is Richard Lampert's motto for the "Famille Garage" children's furniture collection created by designer Alexander Seifried. After variable (changing) chests and tables, Alexander Seifried has also designed children's beds that "grow with you" - furniture for one generation and also for the next, because Famille Garage is not only classically beautiful but also of high quality workmanship. The standard version only includes the slatted frame. Optionally, you can order a polyfoam mattress, a set of 2 lunge protectors in light pink or ice green as well as a nest insert for the headboard in addition, as well as an adjustable slatted frame (38 / 51 / 73 cm), which can prevent your child from falling out and thus gives you a good feeling. Think ahead and order the extension set incl. slatted frame and mattress at the same time - this way the "Famille Garage" baby bed grows from 120 cm to a cot length of 160 cm in no time at all thanks to the new insert. The upper part of the cot is simply removed.

Learned from the bottom up: designer Alexander Seifried

Alexander Seifried knows exactly how to build furniture. At the age of 18, he graduated from his carpentry apprenticeship as 2nd guild winner and then completed an apprenticeship at 3F Design in Stuttgart, specialising in interior design and furniture design. Only two years later, he presented his first own furniture collection and made it into the renowned manufacturing companies Richard Lampert, Magazin, frauMaier and Elmar Flötotto.

Richard Lampert: Design made in Germany

In 1993, Richard Lampert founded his company in Stuttgart with the aim of industrially producing furniture and objects of daily use that combine quality craftsmanship, design standards and sustainability. Richard Lampert's collections cover a wide range of areas, from outdoor furniture to living space and office furniture. Well-known designers such as Egon Eiermann and Herbert Hirche stand alongside unconventional and lesser-known international designers.

Material and format

The designer children's bed by Richard Lampert is made of fir and spruce veneer and has pretty white elements, a height-adjustable slatted frame (38 / 51 / 73 cm), the bed can be extended from 120 metres to 160 cm. The "Monaco" nest insert, which can be ordered in addition, consists of 67% cotton and 33% linen.
