Environmentally conscious: Falk swivel chair with five-star base by Houe
Have you ever heard of post-consumer plastic? In Germany, almost 6 million tonnes of plastic waste are produced every year - that's an extremely large amount. Post-consumer plastics is the term used to describe all plastic waste that is not used to produce another product. At about 5 million tonnes, this is almost all plastic waste.
The situation is not much better in Denmark either. Houe has decided to declare war on these mountains of waste and create something useful out of them. Thus, the manufacturer's Falk collection is the world's first chair series made of post-consumer plastic directly from Danish household waste!
Nordic modern
Visually, the Falk swivel chair convinces with its organic shape, which gives the chair a recognisable personality. At the same time, its modern, light look is entirely in keeping with the Nordic design tradition. The seating comfort resulting from the soft and inviting shape is also not to be scoffed at. The rolling five-star frame and the height-adjustable seat provide sufficient flexibility for work.
Houe - Design from Denmark
Houe was founded in 2007 as a Danish design house. The focus of the manufacturer is to combine comfort and design in its products. Therefore, they are produced in established factories with which Houe has been working closely together for several years. Thereby, value is placed on every detail of the furniture pieces and materials. Houe offers furniture for indoor and outdoor use that combines design, price and Scandinavian craftsmanship.
Material and format
The frame of the Falk chair consists of a powder-coated, black five-star steel base with castors. The seat shell with armrests is made of plastic, which is produced from recycled plastic waste. For even more seating comfort, you can also configure Falk with seat cushions.
The designer swivel chair is 69 cm wide and deep and 81-94 cm high. The seat height of Falk can be adjusted between 44 and 57 cm.
