The origins of the Elysée Shelving System by Magis go back to 1971. Designer Pierre Paulin was commissioned to furnish the private flat of President Pompidou in the Elysée Palace. On this occasion, the impressive and modular Elysée shelving system was created, which is now produced and distributed by Magis. The shelving system is particularly versatile. We offer it here in a prefabricated configuration. If you are interested in another module, please contact us directly.
Magis - over 40 years of design
Magis has been developing design products for private homes and public spaces for more than 40 years. The company was founded in 1976 in northern Italy and has since developed into a global design brand. Magis focuses on new ideas, new design languages and innovative production methods. This is how versatile and uncompromising designs are created. A Magis product must be aesthetic and functional. And it must embody a strong idea. Anything else would be simple, ordinary and not like Magis.
Material and format
The shelf is made of plywood and is available in different versions. The module is reinforced with T joints, these are made of ABS. In addition, there are galvanised wall hooks.
