The Eames Elephant in a small size: As a design classic, the coloured elephant designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra is now also available in a handy and space-saving size.

While the normal Eames Elephant, which you could order up to now at Vitra online, with a length of almost 80 cm is quite stately, the small Elephant comes only half of this length. Thus, the new little Elephant is less suitable for sitting on it for children, but rather as an original toy.

The original elephant
The Eames Elephant was designed in 1945 by the famous couple Charles & Ray Eames. While the prototype consisted of plywood, the elephant was mass-produced in polypropylene for cost reasons.
You can now order this in small size and - brand new - in dark green online.
Whether big or small elephant - the iconic Eames sculpture sets highlights and is a must for all fans of Charles & Ray Eames.
