Sculptural and solid: DT01 Tank bar stool by e15
No more ordinary! Made of solid European oak, sculputral, reduced - Tank is anything but a classic bar stool. Originally, David Thulstrup designed it for his striking interior concept of Gasoline Grill in the French Quarter in Copenhagen. Although the designer breaks with the classic design concept, Tank is in no way inferior to other bar stools in terms of functionality.
The design
Influenced by his background as an architect and interior designer, the Danish designer David Thulstrup creates holistically thought-out furniture of the highest quality, which is distinctive in its form but can be harmoniously integrated in many places.
e15 - combines design and architecture
Named after the postcode of its first studio in London, the company was founded in 1995. Since then, it has stood for consistent and progressive designs in combination with high-quality materials and innovative craftsmanship. e15 is strongly rooted in the fields of architecture and design, creating a unique profile that results from the experience and knowledge of co-founder and architect Philipp Mainzer and designer and art director Farah Ebrahimi.
In close cooperation with other selected designers and artists, numerous products are created that convince through their artistic approach and open attitude towards different cultures. Reduced forms and radical simplicity as well as the natural characteristics of the materials used create design in its purest form. The collections are manufactured in cooperation with specialised craftsmen in Germany and other selected European countries.
Material and format
The Tank bar stool, made of solid European oak, is 37.5 cm wide and deep.
It can be ordered in heights of 66 cm and 75 cm.
The baseboard is made of metal to protect the wood.
