The simple and classic look of the Tolomeo floor lamp complements a variety of styles perfectly. With its movable arm, the luminaire can be flexibly aligned.
Design duo Michele De Lucchi & Giancarlo Fassina
Michele de Lucchi graduated in architecture from the Politecnico in Milan. From 1989 to 1993 he worked at Studio Sottsass Associati on various architectural and industrial design projects before setting up his own studio in 1994. He has worked on important architectural projects in northeastern Italy, such as Enel's historical archive centre in Mestre.
Giancarlo Fassina soon concentrated on lighting design after his studies at Milan Politecnico. Light is part of Fassina's vocation - he is fascinated by every detail and studied shadows, angles and exposure factors.
Together with Michele De Lucchi, he won the Compasso d'Oro in 1989 for the design of Artemides Tolomeo luminaires.
