Disco wall lamp by Santa & Cole designed by Jordi Mirabell & Mariona Raventós is a revolution in lamp design. A disc of cast steel that hides the light, giving off a glimmer around its opaque circle. The light bounces off the wall and creates a halo of light around the metal disc, similar to the luminescence emitted during an eclipse of celestial bodies.
The shape of the disco determines the quality of its light. All power is generated from the centre and it emits a luminous energy that is completely free of tension and creates a feeling of serenity. Hammered aluminium is connected to the energy of the light by hand, by placing a steel blade in a concave casting mould and shaping it on a lathe.
Bulb LED 9 W included.
