What a magnificent sight! The Deja-vu design wall mirror by Magis catches the eye, with its frame of polished, shiny profiled aluminium it spreads a noble and yet not overwhelming design object for its size of 190 m height and 73 cm width. The mirror is somewhat reminiscent of a huge aluminium bowl; designer Naoto Fukasawo has in any case succeeded in creating another masterpiece of first-class workmanship! The design mirror was created for the successful Magis collection Deja-vu, which in turn was nominated for the German Design Award in 2008 and already received the Best Item award at the Interior Innovation Award in Cologne in 2007.

The industrial designer has made an international name for himself primarily through his work for Muji, a Japanese lifestyle department stores' chain, which he now heads as creative director; he is also a professor at the Musashino Art Academy. Naoto Fukasawa represents the minimalist design philosophy and has received over 50 international awards, including works by him in the Musuem of Modern Art in New York.

Material and format

The mirror Deja vu from the collection of the same name by Magis is 190 cm high and 73 cm wide. The frame is made of profile aluminium and has a glossy polished finish. The connecting corners are made of die-cast aluminium. Fittings made of galvanised iron for wall mounting are included, the standing mirror also guarantees maximum durability thanks to a safety film on the back.
