Daphinette Portatile Battery Lamp matt white 3000K Lumina

It is the little sister of the big, world-famous Daphine design lamp - and has already become a big one: the Daphinette Portatile. The cordless battery table lamp from the Italian lighting design company Lumina has a battery and a USB-C input for charging. When Daphinette is connected to the mains for five hours, it provides six hours of light at full power. At 25 per cent power, the little one even manages a lighting duration of 22 hours. Daphinette has a head that can be rotated 360°, a delicate, movable arm and a touch dimmer that can be used to quickly provide bright reading light or subdued, cosy background light. The Daphinette by Tommaso Cimini is available in black soft-touch lacquer, in matt white, brushed nickel or metallic bronze.

The collection originated from the worldwide successful cult lamp Daphine from 1975 and meanwhile includes several wall lamps and floor lamps, among them the little sister Daphinette. The cult lamp is a design multi-talent, can be moved in all directions and is thus the ideal desk and work lamp. The collection is a masterpiece of functionality and simple beauty, the cult lamp is made of metal with a cast iron base, the power supply is hidden in the arm - thanks to the halogen technology, a cable is not necessary. 

With his table lamp Daphine, designed in 1975, the Italian Tommaso Cimini wrote design history: Designers, architects and of course design fans all over the world appreciate and celebrate the icon of Italian luminaire design. In 1980, Cimini founded his company Lumina, which is still a bright star in the designer sky. The production has remained at the same location in Italy for 40 years, which is a guarantee for the sustainability and value of the design luminaires. Then as now, according to company boss Ettore Crimini, every lamp produced is taken home and tested there under everyday conditions. Lumino's credo stems precisely from this: it is the function that creates the form. Linear, essential, iconic: these are Lumina lamps. By using the latest production techniques, they are constantly evolving.
