Elegant: Compas Direction desk by Vitra
Slim, splayed metal legs define the Compas Direction desk from the pen of designer Jean Prouvé. They are reminiscent of the legs of a circle, "le compas" in French, and give the simple and very elegant desk its name.
Jean Prouvé - French design
Throughout his life, Jean Prouvé called himself a constructor, for he was both designer and producer of his designs. From letter openers, lamps and furniture to prefabricated houses - the work of the French designer is particularly extensive and includes pretty much everything that can be constructed and industrially manufactured.
Material and format
The table consists of a base made of formed, powder-coated sheet steel and a solid wood tabletop. This is available in different versions. The table is 125 cm wide, 60 cm deep and 73 cm high.
