With inner life: Colour Dolls wooden dolls by Schönbuch

Classic matryoshkas come in the most colourful colours - for design minimalists anything but a feast for the eyes. The Colour Dolls wooden dolls are fortunately different. Instead of a wild painting, they come in a puristic plain look. The Colour Dolls Matryoshkas not only look really chic, they also offer space for all kinds of things, such as paper clips or jewellery.

The Schönbuch Matryoshkas are made of lacquered wood and are available in five different colours: wine red, granite and neon pink. A little tip: The Colour Dolls can also be combined perfectly with each other.

The largest Schönbuch wooden doll has a diameter of 8 cm and is 16.5 cm high, the smallest wooden doll has a diameter of 1.8 cm and is 4 cm high.

Design

The design comes from Carolin Sangha, who is a real jack-of-all-trades in creativity: she studied graphic and fashion design, worked as a fashion editor, art director, stylist and designer. Sangha spent the first years of her life in India, a country where colour has always been a high priority.

Did you know? In German, matryoshkas are often mistakenly called 'babushka' or 'babutschka'. You know better now!
