A structure borrowed from modern architecture, the so-called façade grid, was the source of inspiration for the design of the Code 1 wooden shelf from Zeitraum. The different sized shelves create a special tension.
Four different internal dimensions make the storage space versatile - whether books, folders or standing collectors for DVDs and CDs - everything finds its place here.
Zeitraum - Design furniture from the Bavarian foothills of the Alps
Life in the Alpine region is characterised by the conscious use of limited resources. This fact gives rise to a sense of responsibility and longevity to which the manufacturer Zeitraum has committed itself. The result is a respectful approach to the natural environment and timeless designs made from durable materials. Since its foundation in 1990, the German manufacturer has pursued the idea of combining design and ecology and therefore uses only hardwoods from sustainable forestry and refrains from chemical treatment of the wood.
Material and size
The Code 2 wooden shelf of period consists of white laminated or natural American walnut veneer. It is 178 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 81 cm high. The feet are made of aluminium and 2.5 cm high. It has 27 compartments of different sizes.
