With the Cirque pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen, you can show your colours and set great accents in your living room, dining room or hallway. The curved shape resembles an oriental lamp, but in a modern version.
Colour has always been part of the DNA of the designer Clara von Zweigbergk and so it goes without saying that the Cirque pendant lamp designed by her also comes with a lot of colour - more precisely with four colours per lamp.
All good things come in threes
You can order the Cirque lamps online in three colours: yellow, red or copper. The mentioned colours refer to the top part of the lamp. Furthermore, we offer the Louis Poulsen Design lamps in three sizes.
Revel in colour: Since the colours are found again or come from one colour family, you can combine the Louis Poulsen pendant lamps excellently with each other, for example as a cluster above the dining table.
Material and format
The lampshade is made of wet lacquered aluminium. The white lacquered inner reflector part provides a downward directed, glare-free, soft light. As already mentioned, you can order Cirque lamp online: a diameter of 22 cm .
The design
Designer Clara von Zweigbergk has an almost family connection with Louis Poulsen: "I grew up under the light of the PH lamp." So she was more than happy when the traditional company Louis Poulsen asked her to create a designer lamp. The first meeting took place in a rather unusual place: Tivoli, Denmark's most famous amusement park. And as it should be in an amusement park, there were also a lot of merry-go-rounds , candyfloss and colours - which immediately provided von Zweigbergk with the necessary inspiration.
