Homage to the 70s: Cindy bedside lamp by Kartell
The Cindy bedside lamp with its cone-shaped shade and the round base that ends in a teardrop shape is reminiscent of the designs from the 70s. Ferruccio Laviani's lamp comes in a high-gloss metal look. The indirect light, illuminated by the almost opaque shade, creates a warm play of colours in the surroundings. The small lamp makes a stylish visual statement on the bedside table, on chests of drawers or sideboards.
Ferruccio Laviani Ferruccio
Laviani first began learning the craft of violin making, but broke off his apprenticeship to study architecture and design at the Polytechnic in Milan. By 1983, he had already worked for the designer Michele De Lucci and later became his partner. in 1991, he finally went into business for himself and celebrated a great success with Kartell's trade fair appearance at the Salone internazionale del mobile. In the following years, he developed, among others, the famous ceiling lamp Fly and the popular night table lamp Battery.
