Calm sphere: Cestita table lamp / table lantern from Santa & Cole
The shape of the lamp is reminiscent of traditional lanterns that canbefound on houses along the coast or on open, light-coloured terraces. Cestita is Spanish and stands for small basket, which also perfectly describes the lamp's portable holder.
The basket-like wooden structure is made of fine cherry wood, which is handcrafted and assembled by artisans. Traditional steam bending techniques are used for this.

Serh schöne archetypische Leuchte
Die Leuchte selbst ist sehr schön und archetypisch. Ein wohlproportionierter beruhigender Blickfang. Etwas unschön ist die herstellungsbedingt sichtbare Schweißnaht des Kunststoffkörpers und die wenig ergonomische Handhabung für den Austausch der Glühbirne. Der Kunststoffkörper wird mit einer flachen Feder auf dem Gestell gehalten. Fazit: trotz kleinere Schwächen bei der Verarbeitung sehr empfehlenswert und vor allem ein optischer Genuss.
