The shapely Carousel collection by Emu includes various chair versions. Among them is this appealing designer armchair. The classic trestle-shaped frame forms the basis for all variants of the series and is made of tubular aluminium. The structural welded seam, which is joined to the aluminium frame in a TIG welding process, is not only an aesthetic enhancement, but also an additional guarantee for special durability.

Decorative braiding made of high-quality, robust and colourfast materials further enhances the design chair. An upholstered seat also ensures sufficient comfort.

Designer Sebastian Herkner

Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. Already during his studies, he focused on the design of objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Subtle details as well as the natural beauty of the materials used are also in focus. Herkner founded his own design studio in Offenbach am Main in 2006 and has since designed products for numerous renowned companies. His work has already received numerous awards.

The chair is made of aluminium, polyester and synthetic rope. It is 61.5 cm wide, 52 cm deep and 77 cm high. The seat height is 41.5 cm.
