Elegant, comfortable and practical - the Can series convinces with its modern look, which is characterized by a casual simplicity. The slim frame made of powder-coated or chrome-plated steel is made more homely by the outer cover of leather or fabric, creating a great contrast between the natural material and the industrially manufactured steel.
The sofa comes flat-packed and can be easily assembled from the three basic elements.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
The Bouroullec design duo consists of brothers Ronan and Erwan, who were born in Quimper, France. Since 1999, the two have operated their design studio in the Belleville Quarter in Paris as equal partners. From small utilitarian objects to large architectural projects, their remit is extremely diverse.
Material and format
The frame of the Cane Sofa is made of black powder-coated or chrome-plated steel. The sofa is upholstered and available with different covers. On the outer sides, the frame is covered with canvas, which is black or natural, depending on the variant. It is 247 cm wide, 89 cm deep and 82 cm high. The seat height is 40 cm.
