It is characterised by a striking shade. The shades are made of drawn aluminium and refined with a chrome coating. The black close-meshed textile cable forms a cleverly placed contrast to the constantly moving chrome surface.

The company was founded in Denmark in 1872. In the 1950s, the famous designer Arne Jacobsen is responsible for the design at Fritz Hansen.
