Button up: the white Button HL wall or ceiling lamp by the Italian lamp specialist Flos. Located in the middle of the lamp is the „Button“, a large size button. The button is not only a pretty ornament but holds together the lighting body and the lampshade. The designer lamps convince with minimalistic-clean look with that certain something. Handy: Button HL can be used as a ceiling light as well as a wall light.
Material and size
The diffusor of the Button HL ceiling light is made of several layered, hand-blown, etched opal glass (transparent – opal – transparent). The reflector is made of steel sheet which is coated with a white lacquer in the end. The final border consist of polished and chromed Zamak alloy. The designer lamps have a diameter of 47 cm and a dept of 10 cm.
Designer
The design of the timeless Flos lamps comes from the Italian designer Piero Lissoni. Lissoni studied architecture in Mailand before he founded his first design studio together with Nicoletta Canesi in 1986. Exactly ten years later his second one followed called Graph.x. The designer received numerous awards like the Red Dot Design Award or the Elle Deco International Design Award.
