Designer Mads Sætter-Lassen
Mads Sætter-Lassen graduated from the renowned design school at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Pratt Institute in New York. He pursues a unique interdisciplinary approach, combining elements of interior design with the principles of furniture construction, metalworking and ergonomics. The designer is also an advocate of simplicity and functionality. Instead of elaborate ornamentation, he favours the pure beauty of the materials.
Northern - creativity from the north
In the north, creative expression is combined with traditional craftsmanship and raw contrasts. The Northern brand was founded in the studios of Northern Lighting, a team of creative designers. They combine aesthetics with functionality and use natural materials and genuine craftsmanship to produce their designs. Northern products are characterised by their simplicity and straightforward design. Smoked wood, muted colours and strong silhouettes create an elegant touch. Northern designs with the aim of making every ambience unique and creating a new vision of Nordic style.
