Minimalism in combination with high-quality materials - the Birillo soap dish is characterised by its rounded square shape with perfectly worked out details. The design is simple but not banal.
Designer Piero Lissoni
Architect, designer and art director - Piero Lissoni founded the multidisciplinary design studio Lissoni Associati together with Nicoletta Canesi in 1986. This was followed in 1996 by Graph.x, a group specialising in the development of brands. Finally, in 2013, Lissoni Architettura, to oversee the growing number of international architectural projects. Lissoni now works in the fields of architecture, interior design, product design, graphics, art direction and corporate identity. Lissoni has won several international awards for his work as an architect and designer, including the Good Design Award, the Red Dot Award and the Compasso d'Oro ADI.
Material and format
The soap dish is made of white PMMA and shiny polished stainless steel. It is 11 cm wide and deep and 3 cm high.
