Long-necked: Birdy floor lamp by Northern. Filigree reading lamp with good tilt wanted? Then take Birdy!
The design lamp is reminiscent of the classic in the 50s all-popular bag lamps, but Birdy seems a bit more modern and stylish. Birdy was designed in 1952 by designer Birger Dahl.
Bright and moving
Birdy combines "bright joy" with "moving": on the one hand you can adjust the lever up or down and on the other hand tilt the lampshade in the desired direction - ideal to illuminate the individual pages of your book perfectly.
Material and size
The luminaire body is made of steel, the lampshade is made of aluminum. The circular foot provides the necessary stability, the switch is located on the cable. Birdy is 133 cm high and 67 cm wide and weighs five kilograms.
Birdy floor by Northern is not only very graceful, but also environmentally friendly: You can equip the Design floor lamp with an LED light source.
The Birdy-collection
In addition to the Birdy floor lamp, the Birdy series also includes a Birdy table lamp and a Birdy wall lamp. So your table and your wall will enjoy casual retro-chic.
A little tip: If you do not like "one unit" and have a soft spot for subtle style breaks, just choose a different colour for each design lamp.
