Exploratory urge
Maurizio Peregalli is not only the brains behind the design, but also one of the co-founders of ZEUS. Today, he is a partner and creative director of the Italian company. In his work, he stands out as a tireless experimenter and explorer of new materials and always tries to combine his designs with reused industrial products.
Peregalli also organises exhibitions and cultural initiatives at the ZEUS showroom in Milan. The aim: to discover and present new designers, craftsmen and young producers from all over the world.
Material and format
Big Irony is made entirely of punched and bent sheet steel that has been phosphated black. Here in our shop, you can order the table in the following five sizes:
- 135 x 135 x 73 cm
- 160 x 80 x 73 cm
- 200 x 90 x 73 cm
- 238 x 100 x 73 cm
- 288 x 114 x 73 cm
Notes: The tables are deliberately not lacquered, as the irregularities in the surface create the special look. With daily use, a patina develops which further refines the surface optically.
The surface has been treated with beeswax. Therefore, please clean the table first with a dry cloth to remove traces of oxidation and wax. When cleaning later, use a non-aggressive cleaning agent. It is recommended to impregnate the surface with beeswax twice a year.
