Café ambience: Belleville Table Table Vitra
Belville is the name of the vibrant Parisian quarter in which the Bouroullec designer duo has its studio. The atmosphere in the quarter and the classic French bistro furniture were the source of inspiration for the Belleville Table by Vitra.
For this reason, its form looks particularly familiar and yet contemporary at the same time. It is made of two components: a frame structure that forms the base of the design table like calligraphy and a table surface made of veneer, melamine or solid core material.
Belleville family
In addition to the Belleville Table, the collection also includes a series of chairs that together form a diverse yet coherent family whose expression and materials are perfectly coordinated. The Belleville Chair shows itself to be extraordinarily versatile and works in gallery spaces as well as in homes or restaurants of the most diverse styles.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
The Bouroullec design duo consists of the brothers Ronan and Erwan, who were born in Quimper in France. Since 1999, the two have been running their design studio in the Belleville Quarter in Paris as equal partners. From small objects of daily use to large architectural projects - their field of activity is extremely versatile.
