Harbour flair: BC 07 Basket table in boat shape by Janua
The BC 07 Basket is a high-quality table with a strong character in an elegant combination of solid wood and metal. The openwork frame of gently curved struts of different widths creates a great contrast to the imposing tabletop of smoked oak or walnut.
A characteristic feature of this version of the BC 07 is above all the unique, boat-shaped tabletop - a homage by the Hamburg design duo Birgit Hoffmann and Christoph Kahleyss to the famous port city.
Cut edge
They also came up with something special for the table edge. In harmony with the rounded metal struts, it is also completely rounded. A specially manufactured tool is used for this. This creates the striking shape, which is strongly reminiscent of a pebble. Hence the name "pebble edge".
Frame and format
The elegant frame - with its distinctive basket shape that gives the table its name - is made of black powder-coated steel. In the oak version, you can also order the frame in anodised, brass-coloured aluminium.
In terms of format, there are four different sizes to choose from, depending on the space available:
- 200 x 100 x 75 cm
- 220 x 110 x 75 cm
- 240 x 110 x 75 cm
- 260 x 110 x 75 cm
