Functional design piece: Battista matt trolley and serving trolley by Kartell 

Battista was designed by star designer Antonio Citterio. A concise design paired with well thought-out functionality and robust quality - that is what the trolley stands for, which can also be used as a side table. The accordion, which is located underneath the tabletop, not only fulfils its function but is also a visual highlight. It can be easily folded from 100 cm to 20 cm and thus finds space even in small niches and storage rooms. 

Antonio Citterio 

The worldwide renowned designer Antonio Citterio was born in Meda, Italy, in 1950. After his graduation in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic, Citterio designed, among other things, numerous pieces of furniture. Antonio Citterio has also created numerous designs for the Italian manufacturer Kartell, which are highly sought-after among connoisseurs.

Kartell - Plastic for Art 

The Italian company Kartell is one of the most dazzling brands in the world of design. The beautifully shaped products made in Milan combine industrial know-how with an unusual design language, which has earned the manufacturer a great reputation on the international stage. It is above all the famous plastic furniture that has already achieved cult status.  

Material and format 

The Battista trolley by Kartell is made of matt lacquered chromed tubular steel, die-cast aluminium, polyester and polyurethane. 

It is available in four beautiful colours. 

The design piece is 100 cm wide (folded 20 cm), 54 cm deep and 69 cm high.
