Stand up: Base High Table high table from Muuto
A simple frame and subtle details characterise the Base High Table bar table from Muuto. The design of the high table is based on the Scandinavian design language and its materiality is also derived from its Scandinavian heritage. The table is so simple that it can be used almost anywhere.
Designer Mika Tolvanen
The renowned Finnish designer Mika Tolvanen graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 and opened his own studio immediately afterwards. Since then, he has been designing products for the home and contract sectors and producing prototypes himself in his workshop on the island of Lauttasaari outside Helsinki, Finland.
Material and format
The table consists of an extruded aluminium frame, which is treated with a particularly durable acrylic paint. The table top is a laminate surface or plywood with a linoleum surface, depending on the variant. The dimensions of the table can be selected.
