BaKaRú is a low voltage lighting system; it is operated through a transformer that reduces 230 / 125 volts to 12 volts. The transformer has a capacity of 200 watts and is equipped with a "Watch Tronic" electronic performance monitor and a temperature safeguard.
"BaKaRú" can be suspended between opposite walls or from the ceiling; it may be mounted horizontally or vertically as well as vertically. "BaKaRú" is available as a wall set or as ceiling set, each respectively with one transformer, three special cables with fixtures, and - as desired - with six rods and five, seven or ten elements. The lighting elements can be turned in any direction, and they can also slide along the cables. As the turnbuckles are insulated, the lighting elements may also be mounted on conducting materials.
The special cables can be supplied in lengths of six, eight or ten metres. If connection over a greater distance is intended, the use of a second transformer, along with the required insulation materials is advisable. The cables can handle up to 350 watts. Separate shades for the sets are available in the non-standard colours black, blue and silver. The light can be regulated only with the special transformer-operated dimmer.
Supplied with heat-resistant shades, lighting elements, drilling template, and tensioning tools.
