Reedition: B40 Chair with Bauhaus strap Tecta
Tecta manufactures licensed and true-to-work Bauhaus reeditions - such as the B40 chair with Bauhaus strap. It bears the signet of Oskar Schlemmer, who designed it for the State Bauhaus Weimar in 1922. Even today, the Bauhaus models by Tecta follow the exact proportions of the original.
Material and format
The chair consists of a frame made of nickel-plated tubular steel, a Bauhaus belt and runners made of transparent PTFE. It is 45 cm wide, 57 cm deep and 88 cm high. The seat height is 47 cm.
