Universal: Atelier Chair by Artek
The simple Atelier wooden chair by Artek was designed for the new restaurant of the National Museum in Stockholm. The name Atelier refers to the restaurant's interior, which is reminiscent of an artist's studio.
The design chair is compact, light and stackable. The slender proportions, geometric lines and simple elegance create a pleasant aesthetic that harmonises with a wide range of furnishing styles.
TAF Design Studio
The design and architecture studio TAF is located in Stockholm. It was founded by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom. Together they design products that focus on everyday life and at the same time convince with extraordinary quality.
Since its foundation in 2002, TAF Studio has gained great international recognition. Works have been exhibited at the MoMA in New York, the National Museum in Stockholm and the Danish Design Museum in Copenhagen.
Material and format
The frame and backrest of the Atelier chair is made of solid wood. You can choose between the beech, ash and oak versions. In addition, the beech wood version is available lacquered in the colours black, dark red or green. The seat core is made of beech plywood and the seat surface of the respective veneer.
The chair is 46 cm wide, 47 cm deep and 78 cm high. The seat height is 45.5 cm.
