After his studies at the Kolding School of Design, the designer Lorentz Mentze founded the architecture and design office STUDIO 0405 in Copenhagen. His focus is on the interface between space and object. With skilled craftsmanship, he creates objects from high-quality materials that combine historical, technical and aesthetic qualities of design.
Material and format
The eye-catching Apollo Wall Sconce presents itself with three mouth-blown opal glass shades attached to curved tubular arms. This elegant construction creates a fascinating contrast between the organically shaped shades and the industrial aluminium tubes with an anodised surface. The result is a harmonious fusion of handcrafted finesse and modern industrial aesthetics.
