The Spanish-born designer now lives and works in Milan, where she graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic in 1989. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and was an employee of the De Padova studio, where she developed furniture together with Vico Magistretti. In 2001, Urquiola opened her own studio for product design, interior design and architecture. Her furniture designs are characterised by material diversity and colourful designs and adorn the product portfolio of renowned manufacturers, including Alessi, Driade, Flos, Gan, Kartell, Rosenthal and Verywood. #

Material and format 

The frame of the Antibodi armchair by Moroso is made of stainless steel. The feet are made of PVC. Only cleaning foam should be used to clean the fabric cover of the 87 cm wide, 87 cm deep and 77 cm high design armchair.
