Miniatures Collection from Vitra
The Vitra Design Museum houses around 7000 pieces of furniture, over 1000 lamps and numerous archives and bequests from well-known design greats such as Charles and Ray Eames, Verner Panton and Alexander Girard. This makes the collection one of the most important collections of furniture design in the world. For more than 20 years now, the museum has been reproducing the milestones of furniture design from its collection in miniature form.

The chairs have been scaled down to a sixth of their original size and are modelled on the historical originals down to the smallest details in terms of construction, material and colouring. Even the natural grain of the wood, the replicas of the smallest screws or the most elaborate manufacturing methods are just like the original. This makes the replicas in Vitra's Miniatures Collection popular collector's items.

The small miniature is 10 cm wide, 10 cm deep and 14 cm high. It comes in a printed wooden box and with a brochure.
