Pretty drop: Alba 265 table lamp by Oluce. The designer was inspired by something quite ordinary for her luminaire: a drop of water. And this "drop of water" made of glass floats almost weightlessly on a filigree brushed brass base.

Material and size
Alba 265 is made of hand-blown glass and metal. The lampshade comes in the elegant opal glass look; The brushed brass base is elegant and futuristic alike. The latter consists of L-shaped arranged square profiles, which are arranged asymmetrically. The Oluce Alba 265 cable stays discreet: this one is transparent.
The Oluce design lamp is 32 cm wide and 25 cm high.

Design
Designer Mariana Pellegrino Soto was born in the Venezuelan capital Caracas. At the age of 18, she made her way to Italy, where she graduated in product design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome.
During her studies Soto won a prize in packaging design, more precisely, the "Global Bottled Water Award 2016". Mariana Pellegrino Soto has been working together successfully with the Italian lighting manufacturer Oluce for a long time.
