Round thing: Akio round table by Girsberger. Akio convinces with formal simplicity and acquires a modern touch through the steel cross. Thanks to the solid wood used, the Girsberger table is also a real natural beauty.
Akio by Girsberger is suitable for the dining room at home as well as for restaurants, cafés and hotels.
Design
The industrial designer Mathias Seiler was born in 1963. After studying at the College of Fine Arts in Hamburg, he worked for several furniture manufacturers. Since 2010 Seiler works for the Swiss seating furniture manufacturer Girsberger.
Material and size
Akio by Girsberger is made of board-glued solid wood and chrome-plated steel. For the wood you have the choice between oak and American walnut, the wood surface is painted lightened in nature. The edges of the table top are chamfered on the underside, the turned solid wood legs are lined up diagonally.
The Akio design table is 74 cm high, the diameter is either 100 cm, 130 cm or 160 cm; the thickness is 28 mm.
