This design resulted from Ray Power's ongoing experiments with the properties of the material Polywood®.

The flat raw pieces made from it are transformed into 'more' three-dimensional objects.

The result in this case is a one-piece shade-to-base that impresses with its visual unity and beauty of form.

This lamp is presented by Lucifer as an example of a design that alludes to itself, but at the same time also draws on classical precursors.
