Flexible storage space: Adam Wood bookshelf by Kartell
With the Adam Wood bookshelf, your individual needs are in the foreground without having to forego stylish elegance. The beautifully curved wooden shelves can be arranged flexibly thanks to the adjustable supports and thus offer space for various furnishings. Should your private library ever grow, you can easily add to your modular shelf. The slender steel shelf uprights nestle seamlessly together. The design was projected on the computer. In this way, the designer pursued the sustainable goal of reducing the use of materials and energy to a minimum.
The design
The name Philippe Starck should be familiar to everyone. With Juicy Salif, for example, the French exceptional talent has designed the probably most famous juice press in the world for Alessi and also the famous Masters chairs and Ghost chairs by Kartell come from his pen. Incidentally, Philippe Starck gets his best ideas on an island, where he devotes himself entirely to his creativity in a rudimentarily furnished fisherman's hut.
Kartell - Plastic for Art
