The About A Chair by Hay is probably the most famous creation by designer Hee Welling. With its minimalist, Scandinavian design and striking combination of wood and plastic, it has set new standards. The international bestseller is at home in both private and public spaces. The AAC 222 model also combines aesthetics and seating comfort: it is characterised by a curved shell with a slightly higher back and a slightly deeper, more generous seat.
Material and format
The design chair with armrests consists of a water-lacquered oak frame and a seat shell made of injection-moulded polypropylene.
It is 59 cm wide, 54 cm deep, 82 cm high and has a seat height of 46.5 cm.
