Timeless: The A622 ceiling lamp by Artek
This ceiling light stands out because of its special shape. The A622 ceiling lamp by Artek has a shade made of thin steel, which is arranged in a staggered circular formation by hand. The designer Alvar Aalto designed this lamp in 1953 for the National Pension Institute in Helsinki and since then has also delighted private homes. The soft and diffused light can be used almost anywhere!
Artek - always modern
Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen and Nils-Gustav Hahl. With their designs they wanted to promote a modern culture of living.
