Golden Bell: A330S Golden Bell Pendant light Pendant light by Artek
Sculptural quality - whether switched on or off, the A330S Golden Bell light by Artek enriches any room at any time. The elegant design lamp is made of a single piece of brass or steel and was designed in 1937 by Aino and Alvar Aalto for the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki.
The design of the unusual Golden Bell embodies the optimised aesthetics typical for Alvar Aalto. Its light is warmly tinted and characteristically diffuse, which is supported by the perforated edge that creates an unforgettable corona effect. This pendant lamp ages particularly gracefully as it develops an appealing patina over time.
Artek - always modern
Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen and Nils-Gustav Hahl. With their designs, they wanted to promote a modern culture of living.
