Three primary colours and a clear design language - the 265 Chromatica wall lamp by Flos is an eye-catcher without being overloaded. It was designed by Paolo Rizzato in 1973 and was his first design away from product design and towards luminaire design. The designer had in mind that a luminaire should be created that improves the human experience in the architectural space.
Flos - light in unique design
Flos, Latin for "flower", is an international company for design lamps with its headquarters in Merano in South Tyrol and further branches all over the world. In addition to contemporary designs for the home, the manufacturer also offers customised lighting installations for hotels, shops, offices and cultural buildings.
The product range of Flos includes a wide spectrum of extraordinary luminaires, many of which went down in design history and are still among the top sellers of the Italian brand today.
