Designer Kihyun Kim
The designer Kihyun Kim was born in South Korea in 1979. He studied product design at the Royal College of Art and has been working independently ever since. His focus is on furniture in industrial design, electronic products and home accessories. He is fascinated by continuous research, typology, materiality and technology.
Zeitraum - Design furniture from the Bavarian foothills of the Alps
Life in the Alpine region is characterised by the conscious use of limited resources. This fact gives rise to a sense of responsibility and longevity to which the manufacturer Zeitraum has committed itself. The result is a respectful approach to the natural environment and timeless designs made from durable materials. Since its foundation in 1990, the German manufacturer has pursued the idea of combining design and ecology and therefore uses only hardwoods from sustainable forestry and refrains from chemical treatment of the wood.
Material and size
The bar stool is made of solid wood and is available in two versions: oak or American walnut. It is 80 cm high, 50 cm deep and 50 cm wide.
