Designs by Marc Sadler
Marc Sadler was born in Austria, has a French passport and currently lives and works in Milan. After obtaining his diploma at the ENSAD in Paris, Sadler founded "Deco Design" and joined the group "France Design" in 1970. The main focus of his work was experimenting with plastic products, in the course of which he designed products for a wide range of sectors: from sports to furniture, from kitchens to pistols.
Many world famous manufacturers such as Martinelli-Luce, Beretta, Faram, Watco, Matrix and Boffi can look back on a collaboration with Sadler. Absolute classics were also his designs for lamps, including the extremely slim Twiggy, the incredibly extravagant Mite and the fine Lite, all of which were produced by Foscarini. Marc Sadler lectures at various design schools and universities in Italy, France, Germany and England.
He has received many international awards for his exceptional work, including the Compasso d'Oro, the award for good design from the Hannover Industrie Forum für Design.
